Eddie Bauer

About Us
The Eddie Bauer clothing chain has over 370 locations throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, and Germany. As a leading sportswear and outdoor gear provider, the company was established by the true original and outdoorsman Eddie Bauer in 1920, who patented the very first quilted down jacket, now proudly known as ‘The Skyliner’. Eddie Bauer went on to patent many other designs in the outerwear industry, including designs for the United States Army uniform. As an avid sportsman, Eddie Bauer initially sold his own hand-made golf clubs and fishing tackle, as well as developed a standardized shuttlecock.

This spirit of innovation and constantly improving performance in the outdoors is what fuels Eddie Bauer even today; sticking closely to the original entrepreneur’s words - “To give you such outstanding quality, value, service and guarantee that we may be worthy of your high esteem.” ™
